In thirteen days, our children will be returning to school. As much as I'm going to miss Tuesday Night Camping and lazy mornings in bed until 9, I'm looking forward to getting my nutrition back on track.
Save for a couple growlers full of frothy adult beverages, we did well on our road trips. Prior to departing, we prepped and packed enough healthy food to keep us from the fast food traveler's trap.
There was also that month with five kids in the house. There's nothing better than having all the kids agree on dinner, right? Yes, that means that many pizzas were consumed. Most of them were purchased from Sprouts, so they were healthy. Right? Right???
I am excited to expand our Small Group Training Programs as well. Summer is the time when we tend to quit taking care of ourselves and get busy with kid stuff and general summertime laziness.
My T/TH/F 8:45 session is perfect for those with school aged kids, just drop them off and head over! Home schoolers are welcome as well. It is a fusion of Pilates, functional training, strength and support with nutrition and meal planning. It is for ALL LEVELS, if you've never worked out before or are looking for a challenge in your workouts.
If you're an early bird looking for a challenge, the Bad Ass Breakfast Club meets M-F at 5:30am. This is our most comprehensive program that draws from many forms of strength, mobility and interval training to create an extremely dynamic experience. Members can try a week free after completing the fundamentals course.
For the working peeps, we have a 5:30 T/TH/F that we will be splitting coaching duties with. It will ALWAYS be new and exciting. Again, all levels are welcome. It is common for these shared classes to end with a game of dodgeball at the park on the corner. That's cardio right?
We've also got a training program for the Fort Worth Half this November that begins next Monday. Besides weekly workouts sent to your inbox, we'll be meeting weekly for speed workouts.
In addition, we do have openings for private and semi-private training. We're excited to grow our community and get people connected to their best versions of themselves.
So, that's what we've got going on. Now it's time for a quality rant.
All joking aside, I see so many moms on FB posting about wanting to lose weight and make changes, but the next thing I see is them falling for the latest fad.
Yoyo dieting has been around for years.
It isn't healthy and really never works.
It is, however extremely marketable. You get quick, short lived results. You go back to where you started, and come back because you "know it works". #PROFIT
Our program will force you to leave your comfort zone but I promise that you will be a stronger (figuratively and literally) person in the end.
Every year I see moms hiding behind their kids in those Holiday cards, we've got 3 months to change that.
I want to see you front and center and smiling with your whole face this time around.
Actually, I want you smiling with your whole body.
